Twice a year, Green River College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Development onboards a cohort of new students. On Fall Advising Day, we welcomed Cohort 17 to the program via an advising and onboarding workshop at the Auburn Center campus. The students in this cohort will begin their first round of bachelor’s-level courses in January 2023.

Thirty students attended the workshop, which included activities around effective study habits and winter class planning, as well as an AMA-style Q&A with Software Development instructors.

At Green River College, we’re helping create a new, more diverse generation of software developers to fill jobs right here in Seattle-Tacoma. At the heart of that mission? Students like this.

Welcome, Cohort 17!
